"The township of Fountains Earth, which comprises Bracken Ridge, Rough Close, Thwaite House, High Thrope, Thrope, Far Pasture, the village of Lofthouse, School House, Parsonage and High Lofthouse to Bakestone Gill, the boundary of the ecclesiastical district of Ramsgill. The remaining part of the Township of Fountains Earth, comprising Mercy Edge, High and Low Sykes, Longside, Helks, the hamlet of Bouthwaite, Boggle Dyke, Holling Hill, Coville Houses, Moss Wood, Moss Wood Top, Tenement, Holme House, Low Holme House, Wising House, Sigsworth Grange, and all the houses at Wath and New Bridge.
