Subject: Accident
A fatal accident occured about 6 o'clock this evening about 5 yards
above the Thornhill Hotel. The sufferer was James Hainsworth named «Taffy»,
who was in a drunken state and in consequence thereof, fell under the
hind wheels of a wagon going from Bradford, the wheel passing over his
neck, caused his death in about 2 minutes.
