Summerbridge Methodist church

 

Nidderdale has always had a very high proportion of non-conformists. Towards the end of the 19th century, the various Methodist groups had over thirty chapels across the dale, their main chapels being Pateley Bridge, Glasshouses and Summerbridge. The records for at least these three chapels are together under 'Nidderdale Methodist Circuit'.

We have because material for many of the nonconformist chapels and material will be added as time goes by. Please note that while the church is listed in the menu, it may be dead indicating that as yet there are no records for that source.
